一方，FTPソフトは，クライアント・ソフトのWS_FTP Professional（1万6238円から）とサーバー・ソフトのWS_FTP Server（11万1250円から）を用意している。 同社ではFTPをSOX法などのセキュリティ需要に合致したアプリケーションであると定義している。
